Water Etched copper disc

I took a class by Sherri and Dan Haab yesterday to learn electrical etching. It was such a wonderful class! Usually to etch you have to use chemicals that are rather toxic after you have utilised it. I’m a wuss about chemical substances, even far more so since I’ve had a kid.
This approach is so easy and does not use harsh chemical substances. It utilizes electrical energy instead. I wish I could give you a much more thorough description of what takes place, but it is all a small over my head. Anyways, I created this disc in class and threw it collectively for a photo op. I’m positive you will see some far more from me in time. Possibly one thing that reflects my style a small far more.
