From my pay a visit to to Mare Island a couple weeks ago. I walked the perimeter of this enormous constructing for more than an hour. Looking for methods to get in, climbing stairs, testing doors. In the finish I had to settle for a opening in a window and a missing doornob. This is a view seeking north from the south entrance of the Mare Island Naval Shipyard Machine Shop. This buildling dates back to Planet War two.

Machine shop at Eleutharian Mills at Brandywine creek north of Wilmington where DuPont created gunpowder from 1802 to 1921. Now can be visited in the Hagley Museum.
